RIF6 Cube 2-inch Mobile Projector

In this world, it seems as if things are getting smaller and smaller, without putting a damper on the quality. Take tiny speakers, as an example, there’s tiny speakers out there that can put out just as much sound as big, studio-like speakers. While looking at small gadgets that were once large, I came across a pretty cool mobile projector that I felt was worthy of research. Let me introduce you to the RIF6 Cube 2-Inch Mobile Projector and report my findings …

What is the RIF6 Cube?

This is a portable DLP projector. It’s super-small, measuring only 2”x2”. No joke, this projector can literally be shoved inside your pocket and when you’re ready to project an image from your iPhone’s screen, simply pull it out.

Many people are amazed by this projectors size, or should I say, lack thereof. It’s really tiny, making it hard to believe that it is capable of projecting anything, let alone a 120” picture.

The small size can be a blessing and a curse. Due to the small size, its sub HD is nesting at 854×80 resolution and it also has a speaker, but it’s hard to hear with. I’ve personally noticed that these two downsides (the only downsides I found) are things that many of you will be able to live with. Because, here, you have a projector that is portable and flexible and is capable of delivering the greatest features in projector technology.

When you purchase the projector, you will receive:

RIF6 Cube Projector
Tripod head
Power brick
11-pin MHL cable
5-pin MHL cable
1 USB charging cable

Setting it All Up Isn’t Too Hard
Yes, this cube comes with a lot of cables, and at first glance, it may be confusing, but it’s not too hard. Basically, it boils down to this: If you are connecting the device to your Android, you only need to be concerned with the MHL cables. If you have an iPhone, you need to be concerned with the HDMI cable. You’ll also need a Digital AV adapter, which will allow you to connect the HDMI output to the Lightning port on the iPhone.

Rechargeable Battery
This projector is rechargeable with a 90-minute battery life. This is the smallest, user-friendly projector you’re going to find.

What Others are Saying

At the time of writing this review on the RIF6 Cube, there was a total of 669 reviewers, giving this device 3.8 stars out of a possible 5.0 stars. Many people were obviously happy with this device due to the mobility, but there were some that, as I mentioned above, weren’t happy with the sound and resolution, but as I said, this is something many of you will be able to live without.

If you like the idea of being able to project your pictures regardless of where you are, so that your friends can see them, this would be a great choice for you – it’s also great for classrooms!
