There are so many nice looking tablets on the market, making it hard to pick the “best” one. In all actuality, there is no “best” in terms of tablet – it all depends on the individual’s needs. If you’re new to the market of tablets, you could end up buying a tablet you don’t really need or want. One tip – never base your purchase on the price tag alone because there are some pretty good tablets out there that have a low price on them – people have a tendency to look past the low priced ones, thinking they’re not good enough. While, at the same time, there’s some that cost $200+ that aren’t all that great. Speaking in price, not too long ago, I stumbled across the Samsung Galaxy Tab E and thought it would be worth telling others about because it’s a good tablet and doesn’t have a hefty price on it…
The Galaxy Tab E is a slate tablet. This means that is has been designed as a handheld tablet, not as a traditional laptop. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system (Android is a popular mobile platform).
The entire family can stay entertained with this device. The tablet has a bright 7-inch display screen, making it easy to browse the web, read digital books, play games, communicate with friends, and much more.
Rear Facing Camera
This tablet has a rear facing camera, allowing to capture moments while you’re out and about. It also includes special shooting modes, such as panorama and continuous shot modes so you can enhance your photos.
Expand Memory with a MicroSD Card
If you’d like to add additional memory, with the microSD card slot, that won’t be a problem. The onboard memory is 8GB. With a microSD card, you can get up to 32GB of memory. This will make it easy for you to store games, photos, videos, and other files on your device.
This tablet has a nice slim, compact design, making it easy to take anywhere you go. It weighs less than one pound.
What Others Are Saying about the Samsung
At the time of writing this review, there was a total of 103 reviewers, giving this product a total of 4.4 stars out of a possible 5.0 stars.
Something that really stands out from the crowd is the stellar battery life. It has a battery life of more than 13 hours, which is pretty amazing.
With all of the happy reviews listed, the one con I came across talked about the low-power processor in the tablet. A low-power processor will offer average performance, so if you plan on using the tablet for reading, accessing emails, communicating, using Facebook and simply browsing the web, this shouldn’t be an issue.
Okay, so the Samsung Galaxy Tab E isn’t the fastest tablet on the market, but the excellent battery, durable construction and budget-friendly price make it a good option for those that are seeking a tablet for everyday use.
